Deep Insights Signs Wuai Food to Upgrade Fresh-Food Chain Store Distribution

Deep Insights has signed a partnership with Hunan Wuai Xianzuo Food Technology Co., Ltd. ("Wuai Food"). Using Deep Insights TMS, Wuai Food will upgrade transport dispatch, warehouse-transport coordination, in-transit control and freight settlement.

Wuai Food owns Hei Se Jing Dian ("Black Classic"), a well-known Changsha stinky tofu brand founded in 2010. Building on its food R&D and chain retail experience, the group launched the fresh food brand Jiduoquan, focused on fresh snacks and healthy food with clean recipes and fewer additives, covering braised foods, bakery, dried fruit, drinks and more. Since its launch in 2025, Jiduoquan has kept expanding, passing 200 stores by September 2026.

Short chains, high frequency, multiple temperature zones

Compared with other retail distribution, fresh-food chains need faster logistics response, tighter warehouse-to-transport handoffs and closer control of the delivery process.

Wuai Food's logistics is short-chain, high-frequency and fresh-food heavy. Goods move from factory to warehouse, then to stores in Changsha and other cities across Hunan, passing through cross-docking, multi-temperature transport and several handovers. Coordination between warehouse picking, vehicle dispatch and store receiving is critical.

With this TMS project, Wuai Food aims to optimize vehicles and routes, improve cross-dock and warehouse-transport coordination, and make transit time, temperature control and proof of delivery more visible.

From warehouse picking to store sign-off

The end-to-end flow covered by Deep Insights TMS combines warehouse-transport coordination + process visibility + online reconciliation:

  1. Warehouse picking — picking plans synchronized
  2. Dispatch — smart dispatch and load optimization
  3. Loading check — scan-to-load verification
  4. In-transit delivery — GPS, temperature monitoring and exception alerts
  5. Store sign-off — scan-to-sign and delivery records
  6. Container return — feedback on crates and roll cages

Waybill and cost data then flow into online reconciliation and freight settlement.

01 Warehouse-transport coordination and dispatch

Deep Insights TMS will connect WMS picking plans with transport dispatch. Using order demand, vehicle resources and delivery routes, it supports smart load planning, route optimization and vehicle assignment, so loading sequence better matches picking waves. For cross-docking, scan-to-load checks improve handover accuracy and efficiency.

02 Transport execution and process control

GPS and temperature data integration gives visibility of vehicle location, transport temperature, delivery time and exceptions, while scan-to-sign at stores completes the record from loading to delivery.

Crates, roll cages and other returnable containers are tracked for dispatch, return and usage, helping the company understand recovery rates and reduce asset losses in circulation.

03 Freight settlement

Unified calculation rules cover waybills, weight differences, rates and surcharges, with online reconciliation to reduce manual work and improve settlement accuracy and efficiency.

Next, Deep Insights will work with Wuai Food on the real needs of fresh-food chain distribution, step by step digitizing dispatch, warehouse-transport handoffs and process management.
