Deep Insights has signed a partnership with JADE PACIFIC LINE PTE. LTD., a Singapore-based shipping and container operator, to jointly build a full-process container shipping operations management system.
Why Singapore, and Why Now
Singapore is one of the world's busiest shipping and transhipment hubs. Running a container business here means fast cycles, long execution chains and a wide mix of commercial terms: services and vessel schedules to plan, space and bookings to manage, every container movement to monitor, and demurrage, rentals and slot-sharing costs to calculate line by line.
Handling that across spreadsheets, email and disconnected tools leaves too much room for missed charges, stale container status and slow month-end reconciliation.
One Platform, Front Office to Back Office
The system being delivered brings these functions onto a single platform:
- Service and route management with vessel schedules and port rotations
- Market rates and online booking, so pricing is controlled before the booking is confirmed
- Import and export documentation across the shipment lifecycle
- Container movement tracking with automatic demurrage and detention calculation
- Chartering management and slot-sharing cost allocation with partner carriers
Bookings are taken at the front office and reconciled in the back office within the same system — one continuous record from quotation to settlement.
What Comes Next
In the next phase, the two companies plan to enable automatic vessel message parsing and bunker (fuel) management, so ship-side data flows into the same platform as commercial and container data.
Extending the Asia-Pacific Map
Following the island-wide delivery network built with FairPrice Group, Deep Insights' service radius in Singapore now extends from shore to sea — retail distribution and container shipping operations, at one of the world's great supply chain crossroads.
Vessels sail, containers move, accounts settle: every box traceable, every charge accounted for.
