Overview
Shanghai Yifan International Logistics was founded in 2005 and has branches across China and in Thailand, the United States, Singapore, Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia. Its services span ocean and air freight, Southeast Asia express lines, China-Europe rail and full-chain B2B/B2C logistics. In Thailand it operates 135,000 m² of warehousing with another 75,000 m² under construction, serving customers in solar, automotive, medical and other industries. Deep Insights and Yifan have launched a project to deploy a logistics management system for Yifan's Thailand business.
Challenges
Fast-growing Thailand Operations
Large and expanding warehouse capacity serving several industries required unified operational management.
Disconnected Platforms and Equipment
Existing platforms and equipment needed integration to close the information loop.
Regional Replication
The system had to be reusable beyond Thailand in other ASEAN markets and within China.
"Business data should be visible and traceable in real time across a closed information loop."
