Overview

By the end of 2024 MIXUE led the global freshly made beverage industry by store count, with more than 46,000 stores. Expanding from Southeast Asia since 2018 into markets including Japan, Korea and Australia, it launched a global supply-chain digitalisation strategy. Under that strategy, the overseas TMS built with Deep Insights went live first at MIXUE's Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City warehouses in Vietnam, combining local overseas operating practice with proven supply-chain digital capabilities from China and connecting several core business platforms.

Challenges

Supply Chain Had to Follow Rapid Overseas Growth

With thousands of overseas stores, MIXUE needed transport capability that matched its global expansion rather than store count alone.

Fragmented Roles and Systems

Procurement, warehousing and transport teams needed shared, real-time data to reduce communication overhead.

Local Operating Requirements

Vietnam operations required local languages and practices while retaining mature supply-chain standards.

"True globalisation is not just adding stores; it is exporting product standards, service systems and supply-chain capability."

Solution

Connected Collaboration Workbench

Procurement, warehousing and transport system data are interconnected in a multi-role, real-time collaboration workbench.

  • System interconnection
  • Multi-role workbench
  • Lower communication cost

End-to-end Visibility and Smart Dispatch

Real-time tracking traces every order node, while automatic order splitting/merging, visual dispatching and route planning support dispatchers. The Ho Chi Minh City warehouse uses map-based load planning.

  • Real-time tracking
  • Automatic order split and merge
  • Route planning and map load planning

Costs, Carrier KPIs and Local Languages

Automatic freight calculation, online reconciliation and write-off make transport costs transparent; configurable carrier KPIs are captured automatically; the app supports multiple languages and photo-based proof of delivery.

  • Automatic billing and online reconciliation
  • Configurable carrier KPIs
  • Multilingual app with photo POD

Results

Borderless Collaboration

Shared real-time data across procurement, warehousing and transport reduces communication cost.

Full Visibility

Every transport node is traceable, with reports across multiple dimensions.

Smarter Dispatch

Order consolidation, visual dispatching and route planning aim to raise dispatcher efficiency and vehicle load rates; no percentage is reported.

Cost Transparency

End-to-end freight costs are calculated and reconciled online.

Key Takeaways

  • Store counts describe company scale, not system results
  • AI-based route, load-rate and carrier optimisation is a stated future direction, not delivered
