Deep Insights Signs Shandong Luyan Group to Build a Group-Level Smart Logistics System

Deep Insights has signed an agreement with Shandong Luyan Group Co., Ltd. The two companies will build a group-level smart logistics system covering logistics at Luyan's production sites and its sales regions.

One truckload as the common thread

The system is built around a single unit: one truckload. It links orders, plant operations, transport and settlement into one closed loop: order → appointment → weighing → in transit → proof of delivery → reconciliation. This gives Luyan one digital platform for managing salt transport by road from start to finish.

Weighing at the center

Salt is sold by weight. The weighbridge reading does three jobs at once: it confirms the delivered quantity, decides whether a truck can leave, and is the basis for the freight charge.

So Deep Insights made weighing the core checkpoint of the design:

  • Before arrival, every truck books an appointment.
  • At the gate, the system checks the licence plate, the time slot, the carrier's credentials and the order status. Trucks are then queued and called by salt type, packaging and pickup method.
  • At exit, the weight is matched against the order. If the difference is outside the allowed tolerance, the order is locked and sent for manual review. Once the check passes, the system issues the exit instruction and the barrier opens.

Goods, truck, paperwork and weight are checked in turn inside the plant. Every truckload of salt gets a traceable digital record.

From dispatch to settlement

Delivery tasks flow from orders straight into dispatch, which produces routes and loading plans. Carriers accept jobs and assign trucks online. Truck positions are reported back to build an in-transit track.

At the customer site, drivers confirm delivery and upload the signed receipt on their phones. The system prices the shipment against the contract rate. Once the figures match, it creates the receivable and payable documents and sends them back to the ERP.

A group-wide control tower

At group level, a supply chain control tower brings orders, trucks, plant status, in-transit status, costs and exceptions into one view. Managers can drill down from group-wide indicators to a single order or truck. This means every load has a known source and destination, every cost can be checked, and every responsibility can be traced.

Looking ahead

Deep Insights and Luyan Group will keep working together as the project grows. They will add capabilities and use cases based on real operations, supporting Luyan's logistics over the long term and testing practical, lasting ways to digitize salt, a traditional industry that people rely on every day.
